Our Commitment

Gammal Software, Inc. is committed to making the MetaDock website and desktop application usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on metadock.app and to align our practices with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), and with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act), which has applied to products and services placed on the EU market since 28 June 2025.

As a small private business, certain provisions of the AODA Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation that apply specifically to large organizations (50+ employees) and designated public sector entities do not apply to us. We nevertheless aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA on our public-facing website as a voluntary commitment to inclusive design.

Conformance Status

The MetaDock website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. The barriers we currently know about are listed under Known Limitations below; that list is the disclosure, not a summary of one. The MetaDock desktop application is still under accessibility review; we currently warn screen-reader users that some workspace-management features may not yet expose accessible labels.

How and When We Evaluated This

• Most recent evaluation: 14 August 2026.
• Scope: the public pages of metadock.app, including the home, features, pricing, comparison, documentation and legal pages, and the checkout consent flow. The MetaDock desktop application and any third-party content embedded in the site are outside this scope and are covered separately below.
• Method: self-evaluation. Automated checks against the production-rendered pages, covering heading order, table header markup, focusability of interactive controls, and media controls, combined with heading-and-landmark review and reduced-motion testing. The 14 August 2026 round was carried out against the rendered output of the production build rather than by manual traversal with a screen reader. It was not audited by an independent third party, and it did not include testing with users with disabilities or with assistive technology.
• Standard applied: WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where a barrier below cites a success criterion, that is the criterion it fails.

We re-run this evaluation on each significant release. Because it is a self-evaluation, it is likely to miss barriers that a user of a specific assistive technology would find immediately; if you hit one, please tell us using the contact details below and we will treat it as a defect.

Motion & Animation

The metadock.app marketing site honors the prefers-reduced-motion media query. When your operating system or browser is configured to reduce motion, our hero parallax, gradient mesh, floating orbs, and CSS animations are disabled. If you encounter a remaining animation that does not respect your reduced-motion preference, please report it via the contact information below.

Known Limitations

The following barriers are on metadock.app itself. They are open, not fixed, and each is in active remediation. We publish them because a statement that claims partial conformance while listing only third-party and desktop issues discloses nothing about the site you are actually reading.

Four barriers previously listed here have been fixed and are no longer open: a product video that played without a pause control (WCAG 2.2.2), pricing tooltips that could not be reached by keyboard (WCAG 2.1.1), comparison tables whose first column was not marked up as row headers (WCAG 1.3.1), and a skipped heading level in the footer (WCAG 1.3.1). Every video now carries an always-visible pause control, the tooltip triggers are focusable, the comparison tables use <th scope="row">, and the footer headings sit at one consistent level.

• Tooltips on the pricing cards do not open on touch (WCAG 1.4.13, Level AA). Each plan feature carries an explanatory tooltip. It opens on hover and on keyboard focus, but the underlying tooltip component has no touch trigger, so on a phone or tablet there is no way to read the explanation. The feature names themselves are visible without it, so no plan detail is available only inside a tooltip, but the longer explanation is currently unreachable by touch.
• Embedded third-party content (Stripe checkout, Microsoft WebView2 sites) is governed by the accessibility practices of those vendors.
• The MetaDock desktop application's grid-layout drag-and-drop is not yet fully keyboard accessible; we are working on equivalent keyboard shortcuts.
