Tools
Built-in tools for managing downloads, collecting links during research, and looking up financial data across 6 trading providers.
Downloads Manager
MetaDock has a unified download manager that tracks downloads across all your browser panels, regardless of which profile or layout they come from.
How it works
When you download a file from any browser panel, it appears in the downloads manager. You can see real-time progress, speed, and ETA. Downloads persist in a SQLite database, so your download history survives app restarts.
Per-download controls
Each download has its own controls: cancel, pause, retry, redownload, open file, or show in folder. Right-click for the full menu.
Profile color badges
Downloads show a color badge matching the profile they came from. When you're downloading from 3 different profiles simultaneously, you can tell which is which at a glance.
Multi-layout sync
Downloads are shared across all layouts. Start a download on monitor 1, check its progress from monitor 2.
Authentication preserved
Downloads automatically carry over the User-Agent, cookies, and referer from the browser that started them. No broken downloads from auth-protected sites.
Toolbar actions
- •Clear completed — remove finished downloads from the list
- •Clear all — remove everything (with confirmation)
- •Open downloads folder — jump to the folder in Windows Explorer
